Jean Montero, chosen in the 2024-25 All-acb First Team

Valencia Basket player Jean Montero has been named to the 2024–25 All-acb First Team, marking the seventh time a player from the "taronja" team has been selected among the league’s top five since the award was established. The Dominican guard was also honored two weeks ago as the league's Best Young Player—becoming the first ever to win the award three times, and doing so consecutively—and was unanimously included in the All-acb best Young Team.

Last season, while playing for MoraBanc Andorra, Jean earned a spot on the All-acb Second Team. Now, in his debut season with our Club, he has become the second highest-rated player in the competition (19.2 performance index rating) and the best performer in the second leg of the season (averaging 22.8 PIR since Round 18), which has propelled him into the All-acb First Team. The "taronja" guard shares the honor with Marcelinho Huertas, Mario Hezonja, Derrick Alston Jr. and Ante Tomic.
